BRUNSWICK, N.Y. – Lots of rain and lightning passed through Rensselaer County Wednesday afternoon in a quick storm.

The on-and-off rain caused some flash flooding and decreased visibility, particularly along Route 7.

Pittstown also experienced flash flooding, and a tree was knocked down on Croll Road leaving many without power.

But just as quickly as the waters rose, they receded, and residents were left to dry off any property that may have been damaged.
