ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - State transportation officials are warning anyone traveling to Albany's Capitol complex that road work is going to disrupt traffic patterns in the area.
The work starting Monday involves roads in the western tunnel roadways under the Swan Street Building and parking areas under the highway. The project is scheduled to run until October.
Parking won't be affected, but there will detours on local streets to get into the I-787 and Empire State Plaza lots.
There will be warning signs on area highways and an interactive map is available at the Office of General Services website: http://www.ogs.ny.gov
