LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – Siena College freshmen moved-in to their campus rooms on Thursday.

Members of the Siena community as well as the college’s new interim president Father Edward Coughlin helped the new students unload their cars, unpack boxes and unwind on campus as they began to experience life at Siena.

This year’s freshman class comes from 22 different states and seven foreign countries.

Freshman Jessica Leavitt said it’s stressful and exciting all at the same time.

“It was a little stressful getting everything to fit in the car and getting packed and making sure I didn’t forget anything, but other than that, it’s been really great,” she said. “Everyone’s really helpful, and they bring up your stuff for you.”

Students have the long holiday weekend to get used to the campus. Classes officially start on September 2.
