Troy police looking for men who allegedly broke into occupied home

TROY, N.Y. –  Troy Police say they are investigating a break-in at a home that happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Tuesday when the residents were home.

According to authorities, at 7:39 p.m., 4 or 5 suspects forcibly entered the 35 Cottage Street residence. They say a handgun was displayed and cell phones, wallets and a Play Station was taken from the residents.

No one was injured and the suspects, who may have been wearing ski masks, left in an unknown direction.

Police patrols, plus a K-9, are activity searching the area for the suspects.
