TROY N.Y. – There will be an announcement regarding a future tenant for Troy's Proctor's Theater Thursday. Proctor’s Theater is a landmark for city that has been vacant for decades.
The theater opened in 1914, and was one of the largest theaters in the Empire State at the time. In 1979 the theater was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
Lieutenant Governor is expected to join business leaders and other officials for the announcement of the new tenant that is scheduled for 10 a.m.
