ALBANY, N.Y. – Albany Police have confirmed two men were arrested early Saturday morning.

Around 4 a.m., an Albany Police Officer on Pearl Street witnessed an SUV traveling the wrong way on Columbia Street from Broadway. The driver took a right into the tunnel by Capital Repertory Theatre before striking a snow bank.

The driver allegedly put the vehicle in reverse as the police officer was following the vehicle. Authorities say the driver proceeded through the tunnel to the parking garage on 625 Broadway. According to police, the driver crashed the car into a concrete wall inside the garage.

Police arrested the driver, Rudolph Bradley, 32, of Green Island on a number of charges. He was arraigned for DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, two counts Assault 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief, and Reckless Endangerment.

Police say they also arrested the passenger who had a parole warrant. Todd Watkins, 45, of Troy was allegedly found in possession of heroin. He has been arraigned.

Both men have been remanded to Albany County Jail.
