FERRISBURG, Vt. - Authorities say a missing 17-year-old girl has contacted her mother and is in good condition.

Vermont State Police asked for the public's help in locating Hailey Rheaume-Fox who was first reported missing in Ferrisburg on October 11th.

Rheaume-Fox reportedly called her mother on Tuesday afternoon saying that she was in Burlington, Vermont.

State Police and the Burlington Police Department were able to get in contact with Rheaume-Fox, who is reportedly in good condition and does not need medical attention.

After she disappeared, it was believed she was in the Burlington area with friends avoiding police; and Hailey was believed to be in contact with her mother through text messages, since running away.

Vermont State Police are thanking the public for their efforts in spreading the word about Rheaume-Fox's disappearance.
