ALBANY, N.Y. – A fire broke out at an Albany home Monday morning.
According to Fire Chief Warren Abriel Jr., three people were inside the Adirondack Street home at the time of the fire, including a toddler.
As fire crews arrived to the scene, they found the home in flames, but did not know that inside, one man was struggling to get out, along with a toddler, and her mother.
The Chief said the man had been injured escaping the fire through a window, suffering from a severe cut.
The woman was found in a bedroom. Paramedics performed CPR on the woman as she was transported to the hospital. The chief says she was not responsive and her condition was grave.
