Boston — (ABC) Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been transferred from the Boston hospital where he was being treated to a prison facility in Massachusetts.
The U.S. Marshals Service confirmed early Friday that Tsarnaev was transported from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center to FMC Devens at Ft. Devens, Mass.
It was unclear when the 19-year-old was moved to the prison.
Tsarnaev is charged in the April 15 attacks that claimed three lives and wounded more than 280 people. Police say he and his brother, Tamerlan, then shot and killed an MIT police officer who came upon the suspects days after the attack.
