Montezuma, N.Y. (AP) - State police say no one was injured when a passenger bus and a car collided on a slush-covered stretch of the Thruway in central New York.

Troopers say 26-year-old Michael Prosser of Rome was driving in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 shortly before 5 a.m. Monday when his car spun out and struck the guide rail in the center median and came to a rest in the passing lane in the town of Montezuma, between Rochester and Syracuse.

Police say Prosser had gotten out of the car when a westbound Trailways bus with 32 passengers on board slammed into his vehicle.

Troopers say 13 passengers were checked out at the scene by ambulance crews. All the passengers were transferred to another bus.

Police ticketed Prosser for imprudent speed and moving from a lane unsafely.
