Syracuse, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a Syracuse woman has been charged with stabbing her 2-year-old son and trying to run over the boy's father.
Police in Syracuse say 23-year-old Krystal Thomas got into an argument with Ron Craven Tuesday night at her apartment. Craven told police he left for a time and when he returned, they continued their argument outside the home.
Craven told officers Thomas got into a car and tried to run him over, but instead hit the home's porch and a parked car before driving away.
He says found his son suffering from a stab wound. Police say the boy was treated at a Syracuse hospital for an injury that isn't life-threatening.
Thomas was arraigned Thursday on assault, attempted assault and reckless endangerment charges.
