Charlotte, N. Carolina - President Obama will formally accept the nomination of the Democratic convention tonight.

Wednesday night belonged to former President Bill Clinton.

Clinton lit up the crowd with a 48 minute speech.

During that time, he pushed back against Republican criticism that President Obama should have fixed the economy by now.

"No president, no president--not me, not any of my predecessors, no one -- could have fully repaired all the damage that he [President Obama] found in just four years," Clinton said.

Tonight's speech is being moved indoors to a smaller venue. Democrats say it's because of possible thunderstorms.
