Watkins Glen, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say the body of a 47-year-old man has been found a day after he was reported missing in the Finger Lakes region.

Police in Watkins Glen tell local media outlets that a search team found the body of Mark Mihalko of Rock Stream Thursday afternoon in a creek between railroad tracks and a canal.

Officials say his body has been taken to the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office in Rochester for an autopsy. Police don't suspect foul play in his death.

Authorities say Mihalko was last seen Wednesday at his parents' home in Watkins Glen, located on the southern end of Seneca Lake.

Police launched a ground and air search and spent several hours looking for him before his body was spotted in the creek.
