State College, Penn. - Penn State says the total cost associated with the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal is now at $41 million.
That includes $8 million used to cover the cost of former FBI Director Louis Freeh's investigation.
It also includes the first installment of the university's fine from the NCAA.
Penn State has to pay five installments of $12-million to cover the $60-million fine.
