Albany, N.Y. - New York Senator Chuck Schumer is using the Boston bombings to question Russia’s cooperation with U.S. intelligence.
One of the suspected bombers reportedly had a phone conversation that the FBI found out about after the bombings.
“It was only a few days ago that they revealed a conversation between the elder Tamerlan's mother and him. And that they talked about Jihad. Why didn't the Russians let us know
that much, much earlier?” Schumer said.
Schumer is also pushing to close loopholes involving gun sales saying the suspects ion the marathon bombings could have easily purchased the weapons from a gun show.
