Wallkill, N.Y. (AP) - A baby has been born inside an New York Walmart store.
According to media reports, a woman went into labor around 8 p.m. Thursday at the Walmart in the Orange County town of Wallkill, 65 miles north of New York City.
The Times Herald-Record of Middletown reports that a store manager confirmed the birth. Customers helped deliver the baby just before paramedic arrived.
Information on the gender of the baby or parents wasn't available.
The store manager says more information will be released Friday.
