Fultonville, NY – After a highly successful Independence Day Weekend event which saw Bobby Varin move to the top of the tracks all time feature win list, the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park is set to open their gates Friday evening for another action packed show.
Taking to the ultra quick quarter mile oval will be the DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, Rookie Sportsman, Street Stocks and Cruisers. It will also be NYSSCA (New York State Stock Car Association) Night. There will also be bike give-a-ways and kiddie rides.
The Street Stock division will be highlighted Friday night as they compete in round three of the Harry’s Auto Street Stock Series. Justin Knight currently leads the series standings. Knight holds a two point lead over Chuck McSpirit and a 16 point advantage over Dave Bayes. Cliff Haslun (-18) and Rob Van Aernam (-22) complete the top five. A total of 12 drivers have competed in both previous events.
As always, the racing will begin at 7:30 pm.
