LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – Siena College is just under a month into summer sessions, and for one incoming freshman that means spending the last few weeks getting used to the college game.

Willem Brandwijk is a six foot eight inch freshman. He said college basketball has been a transition, and the biggest difference is the level of competition.

He thinks he will see improvement in his game because of that, and he’ll have head coach Jimmy Patsos pushing him along the way.

Thursday was Brandwijk’s last practice before heading back home to the Netherlands for the summer.
