SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Union hockey player Daniel Carr signed a professional hockey contract Thursday.
Carr signed a two-year, two-way deal with the Montreal Canadiens. Carr said the team does a good job of developing their younger players and giving them a chance.
After recording 50 points this season, the forward had some professional options, but he said the Canadiens were the best fit.
Carr said he’ll use the off season to work on his skating and get stronger, so he’s prepare for rookie camp in the fall.
