TROY, N.Y. – The Tri-City ValleyCats had an off-day Tuesday and 25 of the players went to Cooperstown.
It was the first trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame for some of the players, but for others, they were excited to get back.
“I think back then, I don’t think I appreciated it as much as I will now now that I’m playing the game professionally, and the people I’ve met along the way through my professional career,” pitcher Joe Musgrove said. “I’m going to be really interested to see what’s in there now, and I’m sure a lot of people a lot of stuff has been added to it since then, but I think it’s going to be really cool.”
Musgrove will take the mound when the Cats return to action Wednesday night in Auburn.
