Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Michael Young left Saturday night's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers after the second inning with left ankle soreness.

Young flew out to right field in the first inning in his lone at-bat.

On the season, Young is hitting .272 with eight home runs and 36 RBI. The 36- year-old has been the focus of trade discussion after clearing waivers on August 8.
