Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards reinstated pitcher Dan Haren from the 15-day disabled list, with the right-hander set to start Monday's opener of a four-game series with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Haren was sidelined slightly over two weeks with inflammation in his right shoulder following a string of poor performances. The three-time All-Star will enter Monday's matchup having lost six consecutive decisions and has pitched to a dreadful 7.85 earned run average over his last seven assignments, while serving up 11 homers in 36 2/3 innings during that rough stretch.

In 15 total starts this season, Haren has registered a 4-9 record along with a 6.15 ERA and hasn't won since May 9.

Tyler Moore was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse to make room. The first baseman/outfielder was hitting just .151 with three homers and 14 RBI through 42 games, and the Nationals had made a move to bolster their bench earlier Monday by acquiring veteran outfielder Scott Hairston from the Chicago Cubs.
