Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Miguel Montero belted a three-run homer in the third inning and the Arizona Diamondbacks held on to beat the Cleveland Indians, 5-4, in spring training Thursday.

Montero's homer gave the Diamondbacks a 5-1 lead one inning after an RBI single by Paul Goldschmidt and sacrifice fly from Gerardo Parra made it 2-0.

Arizona starter Tyler Skaggs gave up two runs on six hits and two walks in 4 2/3 innings, but picked up the win. He struck out five.

Jason Donald had four of Cleveland's 13 hits, including two doubles, and scored two runs.
