Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Lars Davis drove in the winning run in the ninth inning as the Colorado Rockies took an 8-7 win over the United States on Wednesday.
Ben Paulsen tied the game prior to Davis' hit with an RBI single of his own while Nolan Arenado drove in a pair of runs for the Rockies, who saw starter Drew Pomeranz give up one run on three hits over 2 2/3 innings.
Brandon Phillips went 4-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored while Jonathan Lucroy and J.P. Arencibia each drove in a pair of runs for the United States. David Hernandez pitched a perfect first inning in the start.
