Recap: Houston vs. Toronto

Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Scott Feldman tossed his first complete game of the season, leading the Houston Astros to a 6-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays in the finale of a four-game series.

Chris Carter and Matt Dominguez drove in two runs apiece for the Astros, who took the final three games of this series and handed Toronto its first series loss since the All-Star break. Jon Singleton, who hit his first career inside- the-park home run in Saturday's win, scored twice in this one.

Feldman (5-8) went the distance for the first time since September 6, 2013, against the White Sox. Toronto managed eight hits against the veteran, but only scored the one run.

Marcus Stroman (7-3) was roughed up for five runs on seven hits in three-plus innings before giving way to the bullpen. The 23-year-old had gone seven starts without a loss, going 4-0 over that stretch.

Jose Reyes had three hits and a stolen base, while Ryan Goins drove in the lone Blue Jays run.

Singles by Juan Francisco and Colby Rasmus to start the second inning led to Toronto's only run. After Munenori Kawasaki advanced the runners with a groundout, Goins singled up the middle to plate Francisco.

Houston responded in the home third, when Carter stepped up with the bases loaded and the count full and laced a two-run single to left.

The Astros extended the lead with a three-run fourth inning, chasing Stroman from the game before he could record an out. Marc Krauss singled and Singleton doubled to center to put the pair in scoring position. Dominguez and Jake Marisnick followed with RBI singles to end Stroman's outing.

Todd Redmond walked Robbie Grossman with the bases loaded later in the inning to make it 5-1.

Dominguez's sac fly an inning later made it 6-1, and Toronto didn't put a runner in scoring position the rest of the game.

Game Notes

Feldman had lost his last three decisions ... Reyes improved to 7-for-11 lifetime against Feldman ... Houston capped a 10-game homestand with a 5-5 record.
