Recap: Los Angeles vs. NY Mets

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Lucas Duda homered twice to lead the New York Mets to an 11-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the finale of a three-game set on Sunday.

Ruben Tejada hit a two-run homer and Travis d'Arnaud added a solo blast for the Mets, who snapped a string of six straight losses at Dodger Stadium.

"I'm glad I was able to contribute," said Duda. "I got a couple of pitches up. As long as they go out, I don't care how far they go."

Bartolo Colon (12-10), who made his first start since coming off the bereavement list, earned the win after surrendering just two runs on five hits with five strikeouts over six innings.

Adrian Gonzalez went 3-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored and Dee Gordon drove in a run with a triple for Los Angeles, which had its three-game win streak come to an end.

Kevin Correia (2-1) gave up seven runs -- five earned -- on seven hits over three frames in defeat.

"Kevin wasn't too good," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said. "We hurt ourselves and it costed us a couple of runs.

The Mets tied the game on d'Arnaud's solo shot to center with one out in the second. Later in the frame, Eric Young Jr. drove in Juan Lagares with an RBI single for a 2-1 lead.

New York extended its lead to 7-1 in the third. Daniel Murphy and David Wright singled to place runners at the corners before Duda crushed a three-run shot to right center which traveled an estimated 457 feet. Lagares reached on an error before scoring on Tejada's blast to left center.

In the sixth, Gonzalez hit an RBI single before the Mets turned a 5-4-3-2 triple play. Kemp grounded to third baseman Eric Campbell, whose throw to second got Gonzalez out. Duda tagged first to retire Matt Kemp and alertly threw home to get Yasiel Puig -- who was trying to score from second.

Murphy and Duda both provided RBI base hits and Lagares' sacrifice fly brought in Murphy for a 10-2 advantage.

Scott Van Slyke singled to lead off the eighth ahead of Gordon's run-scoring triple.

Duda belted a shot to left with one out in the ninth to account for the final score.

The Dodgers opened the scoring in the first, as Gonzalez hit a two-out double and came home on Kemp's single to left.
