New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Philadelphia 76ers guard Michael Carter- Williams and Sacramento Kings forward Ben McLemore were named Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month, respectively, for games played in October and November.

The Sixers 11th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, Carter-Williams ranks first among rookies in scoring (17.2 ppg), assists (7.2 apg), steals (2.92 spg), and minutes (36.2 mpg). He also ranks second in rebounding (5.3 rpg) among first-year players.

Carter-Williams earned Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Oct.29-Nov. 3, thanks in large part to a near quadruple-double on opening night against Miami. The former Syracuse guard finished with 22 points, 12 assists, nine steals and seven rebounds in a 114-110 win over the defending champs.

He joined Shaquille O'Neal (1992) as the only rookies to win the award in the opening week of their NBA careers.

McLemore led all Western Conference rookies in scoring (9.1 ppg) and minutes (22.8 mpg). He is also tied for most 3-pointers made (21), and ranked second in three-point percentage (.350) and third in free throw percentage (.810).

McLemore, the seventh overall selection out of Kansas, has recorded double figures scoring in six games. His career-high is 19 points, which he posted at Golden State on Nov. 2 and at home against Phoenix Nov. 19.
