Recap: Milwaukee vs. Toronto

Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Greivis Vasquez poured in a game-high 26 points and the Toronto Raptors held off the Milwaukee Bucks, 102-98, on Saturday.

DeMar DeRozan netted 23 points and Jonas Valanciunas contributed a double- double with 17 points and 13 rebounds for Toronto, which made eight straight free throws in the final minute to hold off the Bucks.

The Raptors have won three straight and six of seven.

John Henson tallied 23 points, nine rebounds and six assists off the bench for the Bucks, who have lost five straight to set a franchise record for most losses in a season with 63.

Khris Middleton scored 20 in the setback and Jeff Adrien went for 19 points and 12 boards.

Milwaukee outscored Toronto 64-34 in the paint and 20-3 in transition, but made just 1-of-9 from behind the arc while the Raptors hit 12 3-pointers. Vasquez hit six from distance.

"We had a really good first half," said Bucks coach Larry Drew. "Particularly our bench came in and gave us some really good minutes, some really solid minutes. We got off to a slow start at the start of the third quarter."

Tyler Hansbrough beat the buzzer with a layup to give the Raptors a 28-22 lead after one.

Adrien scored five points early in the second, with his three-point play at 9:40 tying it at 32-apiece. The Bucks controlled the rest of the period to take a 56-47 lead into the break.

"A team that is going to the playoffs playing to win a division can not have excuses," Vasquez said of the slow start from Toronto. "We got the win. Ugly, pretty, it was a win."

Vasquez guided Toronto back, hitting a pair of 3-pointers and a layup during an 11-2 run to start the third. Neither team led by more than six the rest of the way.

The Bucks led 76-75 after three and 84-83 midway through the fourth when another Vasquez triple gave the lead back to Toronto for good. DeRozan followed with 1-of-2 from the stripe and a jumper for an 89-84 edge.

Terrence Ross made two from the line with 24 seconds to play and DeRozan made the final six to seal the outcome.
