Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert and tight end Marcedes Lewis were both pronounced out for Sunday's matchup against the Seahawks in Seattle.
Gabbert, who suffered a cut on his right hand which required stitches in the season opener on Sept. 8, did not play last week in a 19-9 loss at Oakland. He was limited in practice for all three days.
Lewis, who is recovering from a calf injury and did not practice on Wednesday, returned on Thursday with limited action and also took limited reps on Friday.
Cornerback Alan Ball, who is fighting through a groin issue, did not practice this week, and after initially being deemed questionable, was later ruled out. Also later pronounced out for Sunday was cornerback Dwayne Gratz (ankle) and wideout Mike Brown (back).
Running back Maurice Jones-Drew (ankle) returned to practice on Friday, albeit in a limited role, and was listed as questionable on the club's injury report.
Also questionable was Uche Nwaneri (knee), who was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before being held out of practice on Friday.
