New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona and Syracuse, two of the nation's three remaining unbeaten teams, remained atop the latest Associated Press men's college basketball poll.

Arizona (20-0) again received 63 first-place votes, two more than last week, and a total of 1,623 points from a nationwide media panel to keep the top spot for an eighth straight week.

Syracuse (19-0) picked up the remaining two first-place votes, two fewer than last week after a narrow escape at Miami-Florida on Saturday, to maintin the No. 2 spot for the eighth consecutive week.

Florida moved up three three spots to third and is followed by the only other unbeaten team, Wichita State, and San Diego State. Florida and San Diego State each have just one loss.

Kansas, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Villanova and Michigan complete the top 10. Villanova dipped five places from fourth after a home loss to Creighton last week, while Michigan vaulted 11 places from 21st following wins over Iowa and Michigan State.

The second 10 consists of Kentucky, Louisville, Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Iowa, Iowa State, Duke, Pittsburgh, Saint Louis and Creighton. Wisconsin and Iowa each dropped five places from last week, while Creighton returns to the poll after a one-week absence.

Massachusetts, Memphis, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Texas are the last five teams ranked. UMass dropped eight places from 13th after a narrow setback at Richmond last week, while Ohio State continued its slide and dropped seven places to 24th. The Buckeyes were ranked third just three weeks ago.

Texas is ranked for the first time this season thanks to a five-game winning streak that included wins over Kansas State and Baylor last week. Both K-State and Baylor were ranked last week, but fell out of this week's poll.

This week's matchups of ranked teams includes a Big Ten tussle between Michigan State and Iowa on Tuesday, while Kansas hosts Iowa State in the Big 12 on Wednesday. Cincinnati visits Louisville on Thursday, while Duke travels to Syracuse to highlight a Saturday slate that also features Kansas at Texas and Oklahoma at Iowa State in the Big 12 as well as Ohio State at Wisconsin in the Big Ten.
