Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Mallory Blackwelder closed with a 5-under 67 on Saturday and she rallied to win the Symetra Classic by two strokes.
Blackwelder, who won for the first time on the Symetra Tour, finished the win at 10-under-par 206.
After opening with a bogey on the first, she bounced back with a birdie on the third. Blackwelder drained three birdies in a row from the seventh to make the turn at minus-8.
Blackwelder got to 10-under with birdies on 13 and 15. She closed the victory with three straight pars.
Emily Talley carded a 4-under 68 to take second place at minus-8. Min Seo Kwak (69) and Kendall Dye (72), who have both won this year, took third and fourth at minus-7 and minus-6 respectively.
Cindy Yueer Feng (70), Demi Runas (70), Krista Puisite (73) and second-round leader Olivia Jordan-Higgins (74) shared fifth place at 5-under 211.
