Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Boston Bruins signed forward David Krejci to a six-year extension worth an annual salary cap figure of $7.25 million, the team announced Thursday.

The extension runs through the 2020-21 season.

Krejci led the Bruins in scoring last season with 69 points (19 goals, 50 assists) and an NHL-best plus-39 rating.

The 28-year-old Czech native has appeared in 504 regular-season games, all with Boston, and has compiled 110 goals with 268 assists for 378 points. He has added 29 goals and 48 assists in 93 career playoff games, and helped Boston win the Stanley Cup in 2011.

The Bruins selected Krejci in the second round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
