Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Cardinals signed free-agent linebacker Larry Foote to a one-year contract on Wednesday.
Foote, 33, has spent 11 of his 12 NFL seasons with Pittsburgh, helping the Steelers win two Super Bowls.
Selected by Pittsburgh in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft, Foote played his first seven years with the Steelers before joining his hometown Detroit Lions in 2009. He returned to Pittsburgh the following year and played in at least 15 games over the next three seasons before his 2013 campaign ended with a torn bicep in the opener. The club released him in March.
The Michigan product has started 119-of-172 career games, posting three 100- tackle seasons and amassing 23 sacks.
