Dayton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The University of Dayton football team will play six times at home, beginning with a first-ever matchup against Georgetown, in an 11-game schedule this year.
The Flyers will kick off their season on Sept. 6 against Georgetown.
They also will host Robert Morris (Sept. 20) in another non-league game and then Pioneer Football League opponents Morehead State (Oct. 18), Valparaiso (Nov. 1), Drake (Nov. 8) and Campbell (Nov. 22).
Coach Rick Chamberlin's squad will play road games against Duquesne (Sept. 13) and PFL opponents Davidson (Oct. 4), Marist (Oct. 11), San Diego (Oct. 25) and Butler (Nov. 15).
Dayton, which finished 7-4 overall and 5-3 in the PFL last season, returns 40 letterwinners and 13 starters (six offense, five defense and both kickers).
