El Segundo, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Lakers will be without another key player for an extended period, as the team announced forward Nick Young will be sidelined at least two weeks with a non-displaced fracture of his patella.

Young sustained the injury, along with a bone bruise, during the second quarter of Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The seven-year pro is averaging 16.9 points per game this season, second-best among Laker players, along with 2.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 48 outings.

Young joins Kobe Bryant (tibial fracture), Pau Gasol (groin) and guard Xavier Henry (knee) on Los Angeles' injured list. The Lakers also had guard Jodie Meeks (ankle) and forward Jordan Hill (neck strain) miss Wednesday's matchup with the Cavaliers, and finished the 119-108 win with only four eligible players after both Young and guard Jordan Farmar exited with injuries and centers Chris Kaman and Robert Sacre fouled out.

Forward Shawne Williams was brought back on a 10-day contract by Los Angeles to add a healthy body to the mix. Williams began the season with the Lakers and averaged 5.2 points and 4.5 rebounds over 32 games (11 starts) prior to being waived by the club last month.

Williams had most recently been playing for the D-League's Los Angeles D- Fenders and is coming off a 23-point effort on Wednesday in which he went 7- of-11 from 3-point range.
