Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Chicago Bears guard Kyle Long has been added to the 2014 Pro Bowl roster, replacing the San Francisco 49ers' Mike Iupati, who is unable to participate due to injury.

Long, who was selected with the 20th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, started all 16 games at right guard for the Bears.

The Oregon product is the first Bears lineman to reach the Pro Bowl since center Olin Kreutz and guard Ruben Brown were selected following the 2006 season. He is also the first Chicago rookie to earn the honors since Johnny Knox was selected as a kick returner after the 2009 campaign.

Iupati suffered a broken left ankle in the San Francisco's loss to Seattle in the NFC Championship game on Sunday.
