Loudoun County, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins waived three running backs on Saturday, including three-year veteran Evan Royster.

Royster had played in 32 games for Washington the last two seasons but was a casualty to this year's final cut, along with fellow backs Lache Seastrunk and Chris Thompson.

Kicker Zach Hocker, offensive lineman Maurice Hurt, cornerback Chase Minnifield, safety Phillip Thomas, wide receiver Nick Williams and linebacker Everette Brown were also let go.

Two players -- defensive end Stephen Bowen and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson -- were placed on the physically unable to perform list, while nose tackle Chris Neild and linebacker Darryl Sharpton were placed on the reserve/injured list.
