The New York Capital Region OASIS Lifelong Learning Program and the SUNY Center for Excellence in Aging and Community Wellness will co-present an information session titled, “Personal Preparedness for Older Adults” on Wed., Nov. 14 from 10-11:30 a.m. in the Great Room of Eastwyck Village, 1720 Best Road, North Greenbush.  Bianca Angelica Gonzalez-Parker, RN, MPH, Training Coordinator at the Center for Public Health Awareness, will lead the workshop which will provide an overview of the types of emergencies encountered most in upstate New York, safety measures to take and special considerations older adults can make in preparing for emergencies.
