On the weekend of November 17th and 18th the Bronck Museum near Coxsackie will hold its Chilly Willy Winter’s Eve tours. The Bronck houses will be decorated for the celebrations of Martinmas, St. Nicholas Day and St. Lucia Day. The clanking of chains will accompany the retelling of ancient legends. The Lucy Kator will watch from her post on the parlor stairs. Dutch and Swedish refreshments will be served. The tours will be led by a costumed guide and pass through rooms which approximate the temperatures and light levels present during winters in the 1700s, warm attire is strongly suggested. Tours leave from the Bronck Museum Visitor Center at 11, 1 and 3 each day. Adult admission for this event is $7, GCHS members and children $3.50. Bronck Museum is located just off US 9W 1.5 miles south of the intersection of routes 9W, 385 and 81 near Coxsackie , N.Y., and is easily reached visa Thruway Exit 21B.
